Freezing Rain

The forecast is calling for Freezing Rain tonight and possibly tomorrow morning. The last big storm that we had was in January 2004. It snowed then freezing rain afterwards. It was pretty impressive to say the least. We had a huge "skating rink" behind our house which made it difficult to walk to where we park our cars. I would rather not have freezing rain...

Here is a definition of freezing rain for your reading pleasure...

A Different Meal EVERY Day of the Year??

Okay, so I am thoroughly bored today. I have been surfing around the net looking for our Thanksgiving Feast for 2 and I came across the following website. This person evidently is cooking something different every single day of the year! Is that craziness or what? WoW...

Thanksgiving

This just might be the first time that Tom and I have Thanksgiving Dinner all by ourselves! I'm very excited to have a nice quiet day at home without the stress of cooking...it has been a stressful few months and I will welcome a peaceful Thanksgiving day this year. I will miss having friends over, but look forward to Christmas when we'll be together with Friends and Family again.

Psalm 100
All Men Exhorted to Praise God.
A Psalm for Thanksgiving.

Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.
Serve the LORD with gladness;

Come before Him with joyful singing.

Know that the LORD Himself is God;

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving

And His courts with praise
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.

For the LORD is good;

His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.

Earth from Space

I was checking out Yahoo News and came across this neat little tidbit. A new exhibition thru the Smithsonian Institute. Looks like in 2007 the show will hit the road...check out the link http://www.earthfromspace.si.edu/
