Sunday, May 27
Tom and I returned to Performance Yesterday and I rode the Scattante CFR...It was a nice bike, but it wasn't a good fit. Also, I could not get over the paint scheme - blech. To take advantage of their latest "Markdown Madness" deal we ordered the Fuji Team Pro. Very anti-climatic to come home with just a piece of paper. Mr. Matt will call in the order today and it should be in PDX in 5-7 days or 57 days...whichever flips your switch. I'll be out of town this coming weekend...I hope it doesn't come in while I'm gone. I would have to come home early!

Fire On The Mountain
Last night Tom and I along with Jenni went for hot wings at Fire On The Mountain...what a funky place! The food is good and we'll definitely go back again with our foodie-friends, Doug & Mary. Deep Fried Tater Tots baby!

Big Long Ride
Tom and I both took today off and went for a long ride....to Performance Bikes located in Mall 205. The purpose was for me to test out some bikes for a near future purchase - maybe. I rode three bikes today two Fuji's and one Scattante, which is the Performance brand bike. The Fuji's were good and much more fancy than I would actually be comfortable with I guess. This Saturday we will return and I'll ride another bike, possibly a Team Pro if Matt can find one and if that works out it will be a better bike than Tom's Fuji...that would be sweet!

Small Group Outing - May 6
The evening of May 6 our small group went to a little place called Someday where we listened to some JAZZ MUSIC. It was a nice break from our study and we all had a fabulous time....

Ride Around Clark County 2007

This year I invited some cycling friends to ride in this year's Ride Around Clark County (RACC). There was a total of 6 of us and we had a pretty good time.
Tracey & Jason met up with Tom and I at Clark College and we waited and waited for Kristan and Kevin to show up. 9am came around and we decided to go ahead and head out. Tracey left a message for Kevin on his cell phone and we set out.
Suprisingly, Kevin and Kristan rolled in at the rest stop at Lacamas lake about 5 minutes after we arrived and Kristan announced that she thought she would die they rode so hard! We rode the remainder of the course together and enjoyed lunch at McMenamins on the River afterwards.
