NO TV?

This week Tom and I went without TV in the evenings after dinner - we spent some time hanging out with each other instead of focusing on mindless shows, turning our brains to mush. We spent a lot of the week working on our bikes - I rotated my tires while Tom worked on his bottom bracket along with a good bath for my bike - there was Gleukos all over it from the Vine Ride.

This is good though, we have yet another busy weekend ahead of us with me going for a ride with Kristen, to Tom's company picnic at the zoo and the Portland Century on Sunday and a concert at Bethany Vineyards in the evening.

Sunday, May 27

Tom and I returned to Performance Yesterday and I rode the Scattante CFR...It was a nice bike, but it wasn't a good fit. Also, I could not get over the paint scheme - blech. To take advantage of their latest "Markdown Madness" deal we ordered the Fuji Team Pro. Very anti-climatic to come home with just a piece of paper. Mr. Matt will call in the order today and it should be in PDX in 5-7 days or 57 days...whichever flips your switch. I'll be out of town this coming weekend...I hope it doesn't come in while I'm gone. I would have to come home early!
