Go Gray...

This year is 9 years since my brain tumor diagnosis. In April of 2004 I was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Astrocytoma.

According to the American Brain Tumor Association - 7% of all brain tumors diagnoses are of this type. Malignant and potentially hard to treat. I was lucky - with 2 surgeries, 6 weeks of radiation and 12 weeks worth of chemotherapy my tumor is no longer detectable on MRI scans. That's a good thing, but my doctor told me early on that there would always be "rogue" cells lurking about and that I can never be sure that I am without the potential of a re-occurrence.

Please support the American Brain Tumor Association this month by wearing GRAY!
