January 26 - February 1, 2009

I had a plan for my photos this week...but by the time Monday evening rolled around I had not taken a photo of anything...nothing! So I decided that this would be Decaf week...

January 26 - Here he is...MR DECAF - lounging on his favorite piece of furniture - it could be because the warming blanket is on and the heater is on and pointed in his direction. He isn't that spoiled ;)

January 27 - Oh look, another shot of him lounging. He does get up every once in a while.

January 28 - What a handsome boy!

January 29 - The only way he'll get my attention while I'm sitting at the computer - just sit in the way!

January 30 - New scratch pads for the Mr D. It took a couple of days for him to totally accept these, the size of them must have thrown him off.

January 31 - OOP - lounging again.

February 1 - Second favorite place would be sitting on the kitchen cart and looking out the window at the birds.

Little Prince...

Here is Decaf after he had been with us a couple of weeks. This is after he discovered the fireplace is a good thing. He simply loves a nap in front of a fire!

Riley isn't so fat after all....

By the looks of this photo, you would think that Riley was/is FAT!

Tom took the big guy to the vet for his annual visit and shots...the vet said that he only gained 1/2 a pound since his last visit a year ago. Whew...at only 15 lb 7 oz he's just a little hefty instead of FAT!

Coolest Cat in the World!

These are our cats...the orange one is Riley and the other stretching and yawning is Decaf. Decaf is a former Wisner kitten and has been with us a year and a half now and has been so much fun. Riley tolerates him most days and has a fit when Decaf is around, but I think that deep down inside he likes the little guy.

Decaf is very routine oriented and most mornings after he is fed he gets to come upstairs and play on the bed with me. He zooms up the stairs to the bedroom and sometimes it sounds like he is literally tripping up the stairs. After Tom goes off to work he knows that he will get the rest of his breakfast and will meow and pace around until I get my rear out of bed and trek downstairs. What a life!
